Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in London is seeking a Senior Development Engineer to lead Rates Risk Technology initiatives. You will own and guide backend components, serve as SME for critical systems, and drive delivery with front-office stakeholders across multiple asset classes.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Applications Development within the Rates domain and/or Risk management.
• Proven knowledge of SDLC and Trade lifecycle.
• Proficiency in C# .NET, with a good understanding of IT fundamentals.
• Leadership experience with people management.
• Experience with messaging and event streaming technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience with .NET Core and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of software components and lead a team of experienced developers.
• Become SME for owned components and services.
• Improve, design and maintain back-end software systems.
• Liaise with other team leads to deliver new features.
• Advise planning team on delivery timelines for business requests.
• Reduce tech debt and use latest secure components and libraries.
