Job summary

Scott Logic in the United Kingdom is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive hands-on software delivery across the full development life cycle. You will work in small, multidisciplinary teams, mentor colleagues, and take ownership of significant client-facing projects.

The role values flexibility with remote working while maintaining strong collaboration with colleagues and clients, plus opportunities to learn and grow in a technology-agnostic environment.

Lead Software Engineer

We work with some of the UK's biggest companies and government departments to provide a pragmatic approach to technology, delivering bespoke software solutions and expert advice.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role, offering the opportunity to be involved in the full development life cycle. You'll typically work in small, tight-knit multidisciplinary teams, solving tough software problems. You'll have the opportunity to further develop your career mentoring colleagues, advising our clients, and taking ownership of significant pieces of work.

We're looking for passionate, proactive technologists. We are technology agnostic and use the right language, tooling and frameworks for the job. That means we're open minded when it comes to your existing skillset, but we value the following:

• Good experience in at least one of Python, Java, C#/.NET, JavaScript or TypeScript, and their associated ecosystems.
