Job summary

Scott Logic is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the UK to work hands-on across the full development lifecycle in close partnership with clients. You will join multidisciplinary teams, mentoring peers, and owning significant pieces of work while delivering pragmatic software solutions.

The role values problem-solving, maintainable system design, and strong communication as you help shape technology choices and project outcomes.

Lead Software Engineer

We work with some of the UK's biggest companies and government departments to provide a pragmatic approach to technology, delivering bespoke software solutions and expert advice.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role, offering the opportunity to be involved in the full development life cycle. You'll typically work in small, tight-knit multidisciplinary teams, solving tough software problems. You'll have the opportunity to further develop your career mentoring colleagues, advising our clients, and taking ownership of significant pieces of work.

We're looking for passionate, proactive technologists. We are technology agnostic and use the right language, tooling and frameworks for the job. That means we're open minded when it comes to your existing skillset, but we value the following:

• Good experience in at least one of Python, Java, C#/.NET, JavaScript or TypeScript, and their associated ecosystems.
