Job summary

Visum Recruitment in Cheshire is seeking a full-time, on-site Design Engineer for a world leading designer and installer of flexible systems for the pharmaceutical industry. You will lead cradle-to-grave design projects, embedding design for manufacture and delivering manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.

The role requires a degree or equivalent and at least 3 years in engineering, design and manufacturing, with extensive SolidWorks experience.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent.
• At least 3 years’ experience in engineering, design and manufacturing environment.
• Extensive 3D SolidWorks experience (must have).
• Proactive problem solver with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead cradle-to-grave design projects with focus on design for manufacture.
• Provide technical direction and design leadership; manage projects per company processes.
• Utilize 3D SolidWorks to prepare manufacturing drawings, validate concepts and deliver documentation.
