Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Design Concession Approver for a 5-month contract in Filton, England. The role leads investigations into manufacturing non-conformances and design issues, with signatory authority (T200) and collaboration across engineering to deliver compliant solutions.

The position offers an hourly rate of GBP46–GBP52 via umbrella, with Monday–Friday, 35 hours per week. Experience on Airbus programmes (A400M/A350) and a proactive, autonomous work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Lead design approval signatory experience (T200/T100) and Manufacturing Non-Conformances.
• Experience on Airbus programmes (A400M/A350).
• Ability to work autonomously and as a strong team player.
• Understanding of design, airworthiness and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for manufacturing non-conformances and design investigations with signatory authority.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase team efficiency through processes and lessons learned.
• Report on critical technical issues to functional managers and delivery managers.
• Develop stakeholder relationships across the wider engineering network.
• Work with Airbus programmes and related concessions (T200/T100) as applicable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust design solutions.
• Deliver results on time, cost and quality while adapting to changes.
• Identify risks and opportunities and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Synthesize complex activities and clearly communicate findings to all stakeholders.
• Contribute to an open and trusting working environment.
