iO Associates is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to recruit a Design Concession Approver (T200) for the Wing Plant Engineering team. This on-site role in North Wales involves leading investigations into manufacturing non-conformances and approving robust technical concessions to ensure safety, airworthiness and product integrity.
You will mentor engineers, support production, and drive continuous improvement on complex aerospace challenges across major aircraft programmes.
Location: Broughton, North Wales (On-site)
Contract: Until December 2026 (Potential Extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5-day week)
Rate: Up to £52 per hour (Umbrella)
We are working with a leading global aerospace manufacturer that is seeking an experienced Design Concession Approver (T200) to join its Wing Plant Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of world-class aircraft by providing technical leadership and engineering expertise within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a Design Concession Approver, you will lead technical investigations into manufacturing non-conformances and develop robust engineering solutions that maintain the highest standards of safety, airworthiness and product integrity. Working closely with manufacturing, production and engineering teams, you will provide technical guidance, approve concessions and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex engineering challenges while collaborating with experienced multidisciplinary teams supporting major commercial aircraft programmes.
We’re looking for an experienced aerospace engineer who has previously worked within an aircraft manufacturing environment and is confident making technical approval decisions.
