Job summary

IO Associates is partnering with a leading global aerospace manufacturer to hire an experienced Design Concession Approver (T200) for the Wing Plant Engineering team in Broughton, North Wales. This is an on-site role offering 35 hours per week and a contract through December 2026, with a rate up to £52 per hour (Umbrella).

You will lead investigations into non-conformances, approve concessions, and mentor engineers while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing and programme teams to

Qualifications

• Proven experience approving manufacturing concessions.
• Current or previous T200 Concession Design Approval.
• Experience in aircraft manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering, airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations into manufacturing non-conformances.
• Develop and approve technical solutions meeting safety and airworthiness.
• Act as technical authority for concession approvals (T200).
• Provide engineering support to manufacturing and production teams.
• Mentor and support engineers on governance and technical matters.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Build relationships with engineering, manufacturing, and programme teams.
• Report critical issues and communicate across the business.
