Job summary

Mon Ami Ltd in Leyland seeks a Deputy Manager for a 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) children’s home. You will support the Registered Manager in daily operations and lead a dedicated care team to ensure high-quality care for young people.

The role focuses on safeguarding, care planning, and creating a safe, therapeutic environment, with opportunities for progression and ongoing training within a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a Children's Residential Home.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and children's care regulations.
• Leadership skills to support and motivate a care team.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding care and positive outcomes for young people.
• Ability to promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for youth.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home.
• Lead and mentor the care team.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company policies.
• Promote a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people.
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessments and support strategies.
