Job summary

Police Scotland is seeking a Demand and Productivity Technical Analyst on a fixed-term contract until the end of August 2027. The role supports the Demand and Productivity Unit, delivering accurate demand and productivity outputs for strategic, tactical and operational use.

You will design, build, test, deploy and maintain analytical products such as Power BI dashboards and strategic reports, lead project work, and document business requirements to inform workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining analytical products such as Power BI dashboards and strategic reports.
• Ability to lead projects and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse business requirements to support strategic, tactical and operational decision making.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in the design, build, test, deployment and maintenance of analytical products such as Power BI dashboards and strategic reports.
• Undertake a lead role on relevant projects with responsibilities relating to delivery of quality assured products within agreed timescales.
• Undertake analysis and documentation of business requirements to inform workforce planning.
