Job summary

Aker Systems is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to drive data and systems analysis across our Agile delivery environments. You will become a domain expert, translating business needs into detailed User Stories and data specifications while collaborating with the Solution Architect.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years in technical/data analysis, with strong SQL and data modelling skills, plus workshop facilitation and Jira backlog experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in a similar technical/data analysis role.
Experience working in an Agile delivery team.
Ability to communicate with both technology and business stakeholders and build strong relationships.
Experience manipulating, analysing, and interpreting large data sets using SQL.

Responsibilities

Lead data and systems analysis activities within the project, identifying business and technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
Conduct data analysis to identify detailed requirements including business transformation mappings.
Create technical User Stories and explain them to the delivery team.
Document data specifications with detailed data definitions and mappings.
Run workshops and engage data suppliers to capture requirements.
Formalise results into structured documentation and obtain stakeholder approval.
Build and maintain patterns and processes that can be repeated.
Manage the project backlog in Jira and contribute to testing and validation.
