Job summary

Fospha in London is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to own production-scale models for marketing measurement. You will lead larger projects end-to-end, selecting modelling approaches, and communicating complex results to clients and internal teams.

The role involves ownership of models from methodology to production, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to a high-agency culture that values ownership.

Qualifications

• Solid commercial data science experience with 3–5 years shipping models into production.
• Strong ML knowledge across multiple algorithm families and ability to pick the right approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead larger production projects end to end, from scoping to shipping production-level code.
• Independently choose modelling approaches within Fospha's suite for attribution, MMM, incrementality testing and brand impact.
• Resolve bugs and queries independently across unfamiliar repos, using AI tooling to accelerate work.
• Use AI as leverage to unblock product and engineering dependencies and build automation workflows.
• Work with QA to ensure robust automated testing and coverage.
• Communicate as a modelling expert with clients and colleagues, including when results are not as expected.
• Help develop junior colleagues through code reviews and mentorship.
