Job summary

Raylo is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to build and deploy predictive models that impact credit risk, churn, and recommendations. You will lead a fast-growing team, collaborating with product, engineering, risk, and commercial units to align analytics with business goals.

The role requires 7+ years in data science, a strong academic record, and the ability to coach and scale the data function in a hybrid, international-growth environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data science and predictive modelling.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to coach a broader function.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Raylo’s data science function, deploying AI/ML to solve key problems.
• Own end-to-end design, build and deployment of production-grade ML models.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk, and commercial teams to identify opportunities.
• Translate modelling approaches into clear business benefits for decision-making.
• Shape the data science roadmap and grow the function as the business scales.
