Job summary

Raylo is seeking a Head of Data Science in London to lead our AI/ML strategy and execution. You will own end-to-end model development, from ideation to production, collaborating across product, engineering, risk and commercial to identify high-impact opportunities and deliver measurable business value.

You will build and scale Raylo’s data science function, driving improvements in risk management, customer retention and personalized recommendations as we expand internationally.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science and predictive modelling.
• 2:1 or higher from a top university.
• Experience building and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong stakeholder management and coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead Raylo’s data science function, deploying AI/ML to strategic problems.
• Own end-to-end design, build and deployment of production-grade ML models.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, risk, operations and commercial to identify high-impact opportunities.
• Shape and grow Raylo’s data science function as we scale internationally.
