Job summary

Foodbuy, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is seeking a Data & Insight Analyst to lead a small team and own key insight delivery. You will translate complex data into actionable business outcomes, mentor analysts, and collaborate with senior leaders to drive decision making.

The role combines hands-on analytics with leadership, focusing on BI dashboards, data pipelines, and predictive insights to shape commercial strategy. Hybrid work with two onsite days is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data science, analytics or BI
• Advanced Python and SQL skills
• Experience with cloud platforms and data pipelines
• Proven track record in building data visualisations and insights

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI models, dashboards and reporting solutions
• Analyse large datasets to uncover trends and opportunities
• Build and deploy advanced analytics and ML models
• Collaborate with data engineering to shape data pipelines
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of analysts
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate data into business insights
• Present clear insights to technical and non-technical audiences
