Job summary

Falcon Smart IT in London is seeking a Senior / Lead Data Engineer to drive a multi-year banking transformation on an Enterprise Data Platform built on Snowflake. You will stand up platform foundations, govern data acquisition and transformation, and lead the data engineering team.

You will design canonical data models, enable CDC/ELT patterns, and shape best practices for scalable data products, collaborating closely with architects and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Senior: 10+ years in data engineering with 3+ years of hands-on Snowflake delivery in production.
• Proven experience in data warehousing, dimensional modelling and data product design.

Responsibilities

• Build Snowflake environment structures with layered databases and schemas.
• Implement RBAC, service accounts, resource monitors and cost guardrails.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines and data code deployments across environments.
