Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to shape its data, analytics and AI capabilities. This senior, hands-on role offers technical ownership and influence across product, engineering and leadership teams to build scalable data platforms powering advanced analytics and AI.

You will lead design and delivery of data pipelines, analytics and BI solutions, with scope to grow a wider data function within a venture-backed AI technology company.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building and operating production-grade data platforms.
• Expertise in data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling and orchestration.
• Experience working with large-scale or complex datasets.
• Background delivering analytics and business intelligence solutions.
• Experience designing secure data services and APIs.
• Knowledge of machine learning data foundations and modern AI-enablement practices.
• Strong understanding of statistics, experimentation and data-driven decision making.
• Experience working within enterprise or highly regulated environments.
• Passion for engineering excellence, security, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines.
• Develop Data-as-a-Service capabilities across products and customer solutions.
• Create trusted analytics, reporting and business intelligence solutions.
• Design and manage secure, reliable data services and APIs.

• Establish best practices for data quality, governance, lineage, metadata and observability.
• Embed security, privacy and compliance into data architecture and engineering processes.
• Collaborate across technical and commercial teams to influence data strategy and architecture.
