Job summary

Agilisys is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to spearhead data platform initiatives within its Data & AI Practice. You will define engineering standards, guide architecture, and deliver scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services for public sector programmes.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, security-by-design, and collaboration with architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders to unlock data value while meeting governance and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a senior or lead data engineer delivering production-grade data platforms.
• Active security clearance.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure data technologies.
• Experience with modern data platform architectures and public sector environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver key data engineering workstreams from design through production deployment.
• Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers across delivery teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
• Contribute to growth and maturity of Agilisys’ Data & AI Practice through innovation and thought leadership.
• Support architectural decision-making and ensure best practices are embedded across delivery activities.
