Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Kenwood, UK, is seeking a Lead Engineer to join the team. The role focuses on cost control for maintenance activities, ensuring client services meet SLAs across critical environments, and delivering technical management reports.

You will manage statutory maintenance planning, change control, and budget adherence while coordinating with the Facilities Management Team and CBRE EHS for audit compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Electrician with recognised qualifications (apprenticeship, HND, C&G).
• 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations - essential.
• Experience operating data centres/critical environments - desirable.
• IOSH or equivalent H&S training beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage costs related to maintenance activities (specialist and self-perform).
• Ensure services meet client requirements or SLAs across client sites and critical environments.
• Lead on statutory maintenance planning and testing, and report compliance to the Technical Services Manager.
• Provide emergency response standby/call-out and technical management reports.
• Maintain, monitor and improve environmental, health & safety and quality systems.
