Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an Executive Principal Data Solution Architect to lead multi-million-pound, BFSI-focused data initiatives. You will bridge C-suite strategy with distributed engineering, shaping future data platforms, governance, and regulatory compliance across cloud environments.

You will drive zero-trust security, lineage, and AI-powered data modernization while delivering measurable business ROI and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of BFSI digital engineering or IT consulting experience.
• Deep technical proficiency in modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and tools (dbt, Airflow, Kafka).
• Mastery of Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Streaming, MLOps, and GenAI integration.
• Expertise in zero-trust security, lineage, GDPR/CCPA, and financial regulations (BCBS 239, DORA, Basel).
• Track record of automated CI/CD pipelines and agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own enterprise data estates across modern cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake), operational platforms, and warehouses.
• Establish company-wide data modeling standards balancing data quality, trust, and agility.
• Translate business goals into scalable blueprints, governance frameworks, and architectural principles.
• Lead legacy-to-cloud modernization enabling zero-copy sharing and AI/LLM workloads.
• Mentor engineering leads and present roadmaps to executive leadership.
