Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe Limited is expanding its Data, Analytics & AI practice in the UK and seeks a Lead Data Consultant to design and deliver cloud-based data engineering, analytics, and AI solutions for leading clients.

You will guide teams, engage in architecture design, and mentor junior staff while leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Power BI and data warehousing concepts to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering cloud-based Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI solutions.
• Extensive experience in client-facing roles, leading teams or projects.
• Hands-on with Python and SQL, cloud platforms and BI tools of choice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory services on advanced analytics and data engineering best practices.
• Lead teams and projects from requirements gathering to design and implementation.
• Capture client requirements and lead solution architectures for current and future needs.
• Design and develop Data Platform, BI, and AI solutions using latest cloud tech.
• Lead design, implementation, and optimisation of data pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
• Build dashboards and reports with Power BI for clear insights.
• Mentor junior colleagues and share knowledge across the team.
