These are the dedicated employees who keep our world running – from baristas to nurses, cleaners to delivery drivers, florists to factory workers. If you’re passionate about creating solutions that put people first and helping businesses and their teams thrive, join us at Deputy and make an impact where it matters most!

The Role

As a Lead Implementation Consultant, you will play a dual role — leading the end-to-end delivery of complex implementation projects for enterprise customers while also coaching and supporting a regional team of Implementation Consultants. You’ll provide technical and strategic guidance, serve as a trusted advisor to customers, and foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing value for customers. As a technical and enterprise delivery expert in your region, you’ll drive continuous improvement in both team performance and global project execution strategies.

  • Team Leadership & Regional Support:
  • Lead and mentor regional Implementation Consultants to ensure project success, skills development, and team alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s to provide coaching, track progress, and resolve challenges.
  • Clearly communicate team goals, updates, and expectations to local team members.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and integration of new team members into the regional team.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance; deliver constructive feedback and growth opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative, positive team culture that values excellence, ownership, and innovation.
  • Implementation Delivery & Technical Expertise:
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery and implementation of complex projects for Deputy’s largest enterprise customers
  • Serve as the on-the-ground technical expert and enterprise subject matter expert for the region, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
  • Act as an escalation point for at-risk implementations, working hands-on to resolve issues and drive outcomes.
  • Define project plans, resource needs, and timelines, aligning with customer expectations and business priorities.
  • Lead discovery workshops to validate business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with Solution Architects, Engineers, and Delivery Partners to deliver custom solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Ensure a seamless transition from implementation to post-sales support by capturing configuration details and key account information.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Initiatives
  • Represent Delivery Services in cross-functional initiatives with Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Support to support roadmap adoption and solution delivery.
  • Partner with the PMO to support capacity planning, resourcing, and delivery prioritization across the region.
  • Contribute feedback to global project execution processes, sharing regional insights and improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Manager of Customer Delivery, Customer Solutions, and Delivery Partner leader to build an effective, end-to-end solution delivery ecosystem.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in implementation consulting, technical project management, or enterprise delivery roles within SaaS.
  • 1–2+ years in a team lead or people leadership capacity (formal or informal).
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise implementations with cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong technical background; comfortable guiding solution architecture and platform configuration.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage internal stakeholders and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring team members, managing performance, and supporting career development.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills; able to balance individual project delivery with team leadership responsibilities.
  • Experience working with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Salesforce, JIRA, Confluence).
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes and long-term success.

The salary range for this position takes into account multiple factors that are all considered to determine an individual candidate’s starting pay. These factors include but are not limited to: market factors, experience, technical and non-technical skills, education, certifications, and other business acumen. This range does not include any potential incentive programs, such as individual or organizational performance bonuses.
