Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, is recruiting a Lead Engineer to join the team in Havant. The role focuses on managing maintenance costs, ensuring SLAs, and supporting critical environments.

You will oversee change control, prepare management reports, provide emergency response, and ensure statutory compliance. Strong communication and contractor management skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Qualified electrician with apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations mandatory.
  • Experience in data centres/critical environments desirable.
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S training.
  • Proficient in MS Office and reporting.
  • Strong contract/supplier management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cost of maintenance activities and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Ensure client services, data rooms and critical environments meet requirements.
  • Operate change control, and provide management reports as required.
  • Provide emergency response standby and incident support.
  • Plan statutory maintenance and report statutory compliance audits.
  • Maintain critical environment documentation and records.
  • Monitor environmental conditions and equipment loads regularly.
