Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Brighton is seeking a Critical Services Supervisor (Lead Engineer) to provide technical leadership in a critical client environment. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance, plan workloads, review work, and manage escalations to ensure safe, reliable building systems.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification and 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation with 18th Edition.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and driving licence.
• On-call rota of one week in six is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical team and coordinate workloads, deadlines, and daily activities.
• Review work logs and complete outstanding items to ensure service delivery.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities and contractor work.
• Evaluate preventive maintenance assessments and recommend improvements.
• Ensure safety, risk, and compliance requirements are followed.
• Escalate issues and communicate progress to clients and management.
