Job summary

Bigblue in London is seeking a Lead Creative Interior Designer for Commercial Design & Build, blending high-impact creativity with strong commercial acumen. You will lead concept development, pitch leadership and client relationships across flagship office fit-out projects.

You’ll mentor the design team, steer proposals with BD and preconstruction, and shape innovative workplace environments that win projects while delivering on commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in commercial office design and fit-out.
• Strong portfolio showing workplace projects and client pitches.
• Proven leadership and ability to present to senior-level clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creative design process across high-profile commercial office fit-out projects from brief to concept development and pitch.
• Develop compelling workplace design concepts that respond to client requirements and commercial objectives.
• Own major client pitches and win over key decision-makers.
• Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted creative advisor.
• Provide creative direction, guidance and mentorship to the wider design team.
• Collaborate with business development, preconstruction and delivery teams to keep proposals inspiring yet achievable.
• Stay ahead of workplace design trends, materials and evolving client expectations.
