Job summary

Wynne Consulting is seeking a Control Systems Engineer in Reading to drive the design, development and commissioning of advanced automation solutions. You will lead the full project lifecycle, develop PLC/SCADA/HMI software for multiple platforms, and produce detailed specifications and design docs.

You will commission systems in live environments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, upholding high engineering standards across sectors such as Food, Utilities, FMCG, and Materials

Qualifications

• Degree in Control/Automation/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong project engineering and client-facing skills.
• Experience in sectors like Food, Utilities, FMCG, Process or Materials Handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery.
• Develop PLC/SCADA/HMI software (Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Schneider).
• Produce specs, design docs and reports.
• Commission systems in live environments.
• Work across multidisciplinary teams and maintain high engineering standards.
