Job summary

Talk Staff Group Ltd in Burton upon Trent is seeking a proactive Control & Systems Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will lead projects from concept to detail design, develop and integrate industrial automation in a global tyre production context, and collaborate across factory sites in the UK.

The role requires hands-on experience with SCADA, PLCs, and modern control software, strong problem solving, and willingness to travel as needed to other sites. 40-hour week, £48k-£58k per year.

Qualifications

• Education in engineering with a recognised accrediting body or equivalent.
• Proven IT skills including data handling and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to specification and detail design.
• Collaborate with PED/Engineering teams and other functions.
