Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Control Software Engineer near Leicester to design and deliver machine control systems for bespoke automation projects. You will write and develop software, PLC and HMI coding for a range of automated machinery, and take responsibility for electrical design, component selection and circuit diagrams.

The role requires at least 5 years' experience with Omron, Siemens and Allen-Bradley equipment, proficiency with ePlan, and strong communication as you will liaise

Qualifications

5+ years experience in software design and PLC coding.
Experience with Omron, Siemens and Allen-Bradley equipment.
Proficient in electrical design for machine automation using ePlan.
Knowledge of European and international safety standards for machines.

Responsibilities

Write and develop software, PLC and HMI coding for automation projects.
Electrical design and creation of machine control system solutions.
Deliver control and safety systems compliant with machinery directive.
Create electrical documentation: circuit diagrams, BOMs and installation documents.
Travel to customer sites across the UK as required.
