Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join Coral Ward at Langley Green Hospital, Crawley. This full-time role leads a 19-bed acute inpatient ward, delivering high-quality, person-centred care within an MDT framework.

You will work closely with inpatient teams, contribute to research and teaching, and benefit from NHS pensions, study leave, and opportunities for flexible working and professional development.

Competenze

• MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
• GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Desirable MRCPsych or higher qualification.
• Ability to deliver undergraduate or postgraduate teaching and training.

Mansioni

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment to inpatients.
• Lead ward rounds and MDT meetings.
• Act as Responsible Clinician for detained patients under the Mental Health Act.
• Supervise junior medical staff and contribute to teaching.
• Engage in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development.
