Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and manage labour on active construction projects. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and adherence to schedules while maintaining site organisation on a commercial window replacement scheme, with a strong roofing background considered advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, CSCS and relevant certificates, and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks on-site.

Qualifications

• Prev. experience in construction site supervision.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices on site.
• Ability to read and follow project plans and schedules.
• CSCS card and relevant supervision certificates (SSSTS/SMSTS)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate small teams of labourers on site.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and site procedures.
• Allocate tasks and provide guidance to site workers.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers as required.
• Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards.
• Report progress, issues, and incidents to management.
