Job summary

Red Bull Advanced Technologies seeks a Composite Manufacturing Team Leader to direct day-to-day composite production activities, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of components for innovative engineering projects. You will lead a team of technicians and chargehands, delivering plans while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in prepreg carbon fibre processes, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Significant experience within composite manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of prepreg carbon fibre manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience leading or supervising manufacturing teams.
• Knowledge of laminating, vacuum bagging, autoclave curing, bonding, trimming and assembly processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of composite manufacturing technicians and chargehands.
• Deliver production plans in line with quality, cost and delivery targets.
• Drive a strong safety-first and Right First Time culture.
• Monitor performance, resolve production issues and escape risks proactively.
• Support training, performance management and team development activities.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Programme teams to ensure successful project delivery.
