Job summary

MTR Partnership in the North West is seeking a Commercial Manager to join a market-leading building contractor. You will lead a team of 4/5 Quantity Surveyors and take commercial responsibility for 2–4 projects, guiding from preconstruction through handover and ensuring sound financial performance.

• Senior/Managing QS or Commercial Manager with significant multi-million building project experience.
• Client-facing role with ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness with cost control focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4/5 QS professionals and manage commercial for 2–4 projects.
• Oversee cost reports and input into cost planning.
• Advise on subcontractor appointments and ensure adherence to company procedures.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Director and other teams to drive best practice and financial performance.
