Job summary

Advance Training & Recruitment Services is recruiting a Commercial Manager to take end-to-end commercial ownership of a £30m major infrastructure project in North Oxfordshire. This permanent role reports to a Senior Commercial Manager as part of a high-performing site team.

Core duties include NEC contract management, subcontractor procurement, cost control, and financial forecasting, with a focus on maximizing profitability and governance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in MEP/infrastructure environments.
• Proven track record of managing overall project commercial performance, not just work packages.
• Expert working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full commercial function across the project life cycle.
• Oversee NEC contract administration, variations, and cash flow optimization.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and final accounts.
• Produce accurate financial forecasting, budgeting and risk schedules for senior stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the site commercial team.
