Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Nuneaton is seeking an experienced CNC Milling Supervisor for a permanent day shift. The role combines hands-on machining with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring FANUC controlled mills are correctly set, programmed, and produced to exact drawings.

You should bring proven CNC milling setting and operating experience with FANUC controls, strong problem-solving skills, and a focus on quality, safety and continuous production flow.

Qualifications

Proven CNC milling setting and operating experience.
Strong working knowledge of FANUC controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Experience maintaining quality and tolerances in a production environment.

Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC milling machines using FANUC controls.
Selecting and setting appropriate tooling after establishing datum faces.
Proving out CNC programs and ensuring first-off components meet specs.
Inspecting first-off components and performing dimensional checks.
Maintaining tool wear and adjusting offsets for dimensional accuracy.
Supporting production teams with machining expertise and problem solving.
