Job summary

SolviT Recruitment Ltd in Rugby is seeking an experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator to lead milling operations on 5-axis machines and to optimise processes. The role involves running the milling section, CAD programming (training provided) and close collaboration with the shop floor manager.

You will set up and operate up to 5 axis milling machines, edit/write G-code, and leverage CAD experience. Local commute to Rugby is required, with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to set and operate up to 5 axis milling machines.
• Edit or write programmes using G code based controls.
• Experience working with large components.
• Live local to Rugby or within a reasonable commute.
• CAD experience is a benefit.
• Experience with process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Run 5-axis milling machines and oversee the milling section.
• Optimise milling processes and tooling for efficiency.
• Collaborate with the shop floor manager to improve workflows.
• Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to the team.
