Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Rugby, Warwickshire, seeks an experienced CNC Miller Machinist to support growth and implement new manufacturing technology. The role involves high-precision milling across aerospace, automotive, oil and gas sectors, with a focus on independent work and increasing responsibility in a modern facility.

You will programme, set and run CNC mills, work with Fanuc controls and G-code, and undertake online programming and adjustments.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years' engineering experience with significant CNC milling experience.
Strong CNC milling machine tool background.
Proven experience with Fanuc controls and G-code-based programming.

Responsibilities

Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines.
Work with Fanuc controls and G-code-based programming.
Carry out online programming and make programme adjustments where required.
Follow, modify and optimise existing CNC programmes.
Operate 4-axis milling machinery.
Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings.
Set machines and tooling to produce components to specification.
Work independently and use initiative to resolve machining and production issues.
Maintain high standards of quality and precision throughout the manufacturing process.
Support the efficient running and improvement of manufacturing processes.
