Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management or related discipline.
• Recognised Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (IOSH/IIRSM) with CPD.
• Chartered IOSH membership or working towards Chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Lead health, safety and risk management across a complex healthcare environment.
• Provide specialist advice to senior leaders on risk control and governance.
• Lead audits, inspections and assurance activities and support incident investigations.
• Develop policies, procedures and governance to support compliance and improvement.
• Deliver training and awareness to improve risk management culture.
• Support organisational resilience and partnerships with regulators and stakeholders.

Education

Degree (or equivalent Level 6 qualification) in Occupational Health & Safety, Risk Management or a related discipline
