Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Principal Cloud Security Engineer / Consultant in London to shape a growing cloud security practice. You will lead secure architectures across AWS, Azure and GCP, advise on enterprise cloud transformation and drive DevSecOps maturity.

The role offers significant influence over security strategy, governance and client engagements, with progression opportunities and a base salary up to £120,000. Hybrid work with regular London presence is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Multi-Cloud Security.
• Experience designing and delivering cloud security solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Consultancy experience is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Advise on enterprise cloud transformation and migration.
• Build and mature DevSecOps capabilities.
• Embed security into CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Lead cloud security governance and architecture assurance.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk and maturity assessments.
• Advise senior stakeholders on complex security decisions.
• Help shape and grow the wider Cloud Security practice.
