Job summary

G3 is seeking an exceptional Principal Cloud Security Engineer to join our growing cloud security practice in London. You will combine technical excellence with strategic influence across engagements and client outcomes.

The role focuses on designing secure, scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, maturing DevSecOps, and guiding governance and threat modelling. You will lead security reviews and drive practice growth with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in cloud security.
• Proven track record delivering complex cloud security programmes.
• Expertise across cloud platforms, IAM, network security, data protection and security operations.
• Experience designing secure cloud architectures across AWS and Microsoft 365.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, resilient, and scalable cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Advise on enterprise-scale cloud transformation, migration, and modernisation.
• Mature DevSecOps capabilities, embedding security into CI/CD and IaC.
• Drive governance, architecture assurance, remediation, and control optimisation.
• Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and cloud security maturity reviews.
