Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead ICT and security design across major building and infrastructure projects in the UK. You will engage with clients, drive delivery, and contribute to business development while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

This senior role offers growth into strategic leadership within a multidisciplinary Cities & Places environment, with hybrid working and opportunities across multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in ICT systems for buildings and infrastructure environments.
• Experience with secure environments (defence or critical infrastructure).
• Degree qualified (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver projects with client-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT and security design solutions across building and infrastructure projects from feasibility through handover (RIBA stages).
• Act as client-facing lead for ICT/security work and support relationship development and delivery.
• Contribute to business development activities with sector leads (no cold outbound sales).
• Coordinate and mentor multidisciplinary design teams to maintain technical quality and delivery standards.
