Job Title: Lead Cloud Security Architect

Location: London

This position is within the Enterprise Security Architecture & Enablement team of Deutsche Bank's Chief Security Office. The team guides the development of Deutsche Bank’s security architecture, principles, strategies, standards, and best practices to enhance cyber capabilities. The Cloud Security Architect will support the Global Head of Enterprise Security Architecture in establishing and communicating the bank’s security architecture, driving strategic initiatives aligned with business goals.

The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for designing secure cloud platforms (Public and Hybrid) following industry best practices, security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines, using a risk-based compliance approach. The role involves shaping cloud security strategy, governance, and architecture across IT projects, reviewing cloud products and architecture decisions, and participating in design authorities.

• Lead the cloud security architecture team, managing performance and workload
• Shape and communicate the end-to-end cloud security strategy and architecture
• Assist in design decisions to meet security objectives
• Review cloud security designs and architectural risk points
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards, conducting threat risk assessments
• Create thought leadership to influence cloud security strategy

• Deep knowledge of cloud architecture and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Stay informed on emerging threats and security controls
• Evaluate and recommend security solutions
• Align security technologies across Deutsche Bank
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement future cloud initiatives
• Lead stakeholder engagement for requirements gathering, proof of concepts, and deployments
