Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications. You will collaborate with architects to ensure solutions meet business goals while optimizing performance, security, and scalability.

The role involves integrating AI/ML models, working with AWS/Azure/GCP, and leading engineering communities to promote cutting-edge technologies. Strong focus on DevOps, CI/CD and robust monitoring practices.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering.
• Experience in cloud development (AWS) focused on design and development.
• Experience with AI/ML model integration and generative AI.
• Proficient in Java, Python or Node.js.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and serverless/event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps practices.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus or ELK.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake/Iceberg and relational DBs like RDS/ Oracle.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, JMS/JDBC/Hibernate.
