Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking an experienced nurse to join the Clinical Research Facility (CRF) as a key member of the team. You will support the Unit Manager, lead the nursing team, and help implement service changes to sustain high standards in early phase trial delivery.

You will develop advanced clinical skills, mentor junior staff, and contribute to core practice standards and clinical audits to maintain excellence in research practice.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with current practice
• Experience in clinical trials within NHS or academic setting preferred
• Ability to lead and develop nursing teams in a high-pace environment

Responsibilities

• Lead the CRF nursing team and support Unit Manager with service developments
• Mentor and supervise junior nurses to enhance clinical practice
• Coordinate unit staffing, acuity assessment and safe trial delivery
• Contribute to core practice standards and clinical audit to improve care
• Drive leadership development and maintain high standards of patient care within early phase trials
