Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust is seeking a Band 8b Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist Team Lead for the ACTIVATE Team in Stevenage/Hitchin. The role focuses on CFS and persistent pain management, with both individual and group interventions.

The post emphasises autonomous clinical delivery, leadership within a multidisciplinary team, and close liaison with medical colleagues to enhance patient care and service development.

Formación

• Highly specialist clinical psychologist with Band 8b responsibilities.
• Ability to lead development and delivery of CFS/persistent pain services.
• Experience in assessment, formulation and therapy for complex cases.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and delivery of highly specialist psychological assessments for CFS/Persistent Pain.
• Lead treatment and management using appropriate psychological interventions.
• Exercise autonomous professional responsibility for assessment and treatment.
• Undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual patients.
• Provide specialist advice and consultation to GP, MSK services and local pain services.
• Deliver psycho-educational group programmes for CFS or persistent pain.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships within the ACTIVATE team.
