Job summary

The Bath Centre for Pain Services at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Psychologist to deliver ACT-based therapy for chronic pain across ages within an interdisciplinary team.

The post offers a full induction and broad clinical work, with a focus on developing ACT skills in a national specialist service. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and HCPC registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology is essential for HCPC registration.
• Experience in NHS and across the lifespan is desirable.
• Ability to contribute to research and education programs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to people of all ages with complex chronic pain.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Contribute to research, publishing and presenting at scientific meetings.
• Attend weekly clinical development meetings, supervision, and psychology meetings.
• Take part in annual team training and education activities.
