NHS National Services Scotland is seeking a psychologist to contribute to the development of a specialist psychology service, including leading and supervising a team of psychologists and trainees in designated areas.

You will undertake psychological assessments and treatment for children and young people, provide clinical supervision to multi-disciplinary staff, and manage a highly specialist caseload within a governance framework.

Responsabilités

• To contribute to the development and provision of a specialist psychology service, including supervision of a team of psychologists and/or trainees and to take responsibility and leadership as the Psychology representative in designated specialist areas.
• To undertake psychological assessments and treatment of children and young people.
• To provide clinical supervision and support in relation to the psychological assessment, therapy and management provided by trainee psychologists, multi disciplinary clinicians and staff working in Tier 3 CAMHS
• To be responsible for providing psychology teaching, training, consultancy and supervision activities management within a governance structure.
• To undertake audit and research relevant to the service area.
• To be responsible for the management of a highly specialist caseload.
