Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC is seeking a Clinical Practice Teacher to join the North Community nursing team. The post holder will oversee day-to-day clinical management and work with the Clinical Team Leader to ensure safe, integrated patient care delivery and efficient service operations.

Ideal candidates will be an RGN with community nursing teaching or practice educator qualification, plus practice assessor or mentorship credentials and willingness to pursue V150.

Qualifications

• Qualified RN with community nursing teaching or practice educator credentials.
• Practice Assessor or mentorship qualification; V150 prescriber or willingness to complete.
• Experience in practice education, clinical leadership and caseload management.
• Strong communication, coaching and organisational skills; proficient with electronic records and digital learning tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver practice education for pre-registration and post-registration learners.
• Assess patients with complex or long-term needs and develop evidence-based care plans.
• Manage a community caseload, prioritising care and delegating work safely.
• Lead clinical supervision and support colleagues to build skills and confidence.
• Work with health, care and university partners to improve learning and patient services.
• Line management or HR policy experience would be advantageous.
