Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust in Brigg, North Lincolnshire, is seeking a Clinical Lead Nurse (NHS AfC: Band 7) to provide strong clinical leadership across learning disability services and ensure safe, person-centred care.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, champion best practice, improve physical health outcomes and reduce health inequalities while aligning with legislation and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Registered RNLD/RNM with current registration.
• Degree in a health profession.
• CPD in learning disabilities and leadership.
• Mentorship or supervision qualification preferred.
• Quality improvement or leadership qualification.
• Training in PBS or trauma-informed practice.
• V300 independent/supplementary prescriber qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing leadership across community learning disability services for three areas.
• Support and develop staff; champion best practice and clinical governance.
• Improve physical health outcomes and reduce health inequalities for people with learning disabilities.
• Lead service development and contribute to quality improvement activity.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to deliver care.
