Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in North Wales is seeking an experienced Clinical Endoscopist – Bowel Screening to lead advanced endoscopy services at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

You will provide clinical leadership, develop pathways, and lead training while driving research and audit in line with national standards. Welsh/English language skills are welcome and 7-day working as the department expands is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with relevant registration (NMC/HCPC).
• MSc or equivalent education and substantial knowledge.
• BSW Accredited Screening Colonoscopist.
• Independent Prescriber.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and expert practice in Endoscopy.
• Promote research, audit, and quality improvement in the service.
• Develop and advance clinical pathways and education for staff.
• Disseminate guidelines and translate evidence into practice.
