Job summary

Contract Scotland in Bathgate seeks an experienced Client Project Manager to deliver end-to-end construction projects up to £10m. You will coordinate pre-construction planning, programmes, budgets and quality, working with senior leadership, clients, design teams and contractors.

You will lead stakeholder engagement, manage contractual obligations under JCT forms, monitor site safety, and mentor site teams to maintain a high-performance culture within a stable, long-standing company.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in client project management for new build construction up to £10m.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building across levels.
• Understanding of JCT contracts and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new build construction projects (residential/commercial) up to £10m in value.
• Develop and maintain robust project programmes, ensuring timely delivery against milestones.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and commercial reporting.
• Drive stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies.
• Ensure contractual compliance and manage variations, claims, and risk.
• Oversee health, safety, and quality standards on site; mentor site teams.
