Job summary

Contract Scotland in Bathgate seeks an experienced Client Project Manager to deliver end-to-end construction projects up to £10m. You will coordinate pre-construction planning, programmes, budgets and quality, working with senior leadership, clients, design teams and contractors.

You will lead stakeholder engagement, manage contractual obligations under JCT forms, monitor site safety, and mentor site teams to maintain a high-performance culture within a stable, long-standing company.

We are assisting a well-established, Bathgate-based developer with decades of continuous operation as they seek to appoint a Client Project Manager as part of a strategically important succession plan within their team.

If you are an experienced Client Project Manager capable in leading new build developments with values up to £10m then we are keen to hear from you. In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, from pre-construction planning through to handover, ensuring programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met or exceeded.

This is a high-visibility role where you'll work closely with senior leadership, clients, design teams, subcontractors, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new build construction projects (residential/commercial) up to £10m in value
• Develop and maintain robust project programmes, ensuring timely delivery against milestones
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and commercial reporting
• Drive strong stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies
• Ensure contractual compliance and manage variations, claims, and risk effectively
• Oversee health, safety, and quality standards on site in line with company and legislative requirements
• Mentor and support site teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
